The desert is resilient.
Arizona always reminds me that health depends on many things. Soil, water, light, pollinators, animals working with agriculture, and native plants that survive extremes.

Nothing survives alone.

Each month I try to sit down and let nature inspire something.
This sketch was shaped by the Joshua Tree blooms and the little bursts of brittlebush across the desert. The blooms themselves feel like a sculpture, strong and delicate at the same time.

Long flight across the country and a tired little one who fell asleep before dinner was over.

And honestly… it was the best.
We went straight to our favorite plant-based spot in Las Vegas @crossroadskitchen . Delicious, Mediterranean Italia

There’s a kind of peace out here that doesn’t depend on the weather.

We had our one real snow. But the animals don’t seem bothered at all.

Samson has really stepped into his role lately. It’s a beautiful thing to watch.
