Apple cider is one of my favorite drinks this time of year! My favorite thing is to make a homemade batch! It’s delicious and full of flavor. When combined in this recipe with fresh lemonade and orange juice it really is quite perfect and tasty.

I love to use jars to mix the lemonade and to keep liquids in. The  Ball® Leak-Proof Storage Lids are a game changer in the kitchen! They can be used on any existing jar and help you easily store liquids, dry good, and even left overs. The Ball ® Canning jars are my favorite because they are very well made. I have tons and tons of them and they come in handy not just for canning but for crafts, flowers, and storage as well.

I’m not just saying this because I’m a Ball®Canning Ambassador. I truly do love the jars and have been using the for a very long time!

One of my favorite ways to mix up a drink is to serve it in a mason jar. There’s just something so southern and perfect about it. October is still a warm month for us so this cool drink with all the flavors of fall is quite refreshing and feels even fancier served out of a fancy mason jar!

RECIPE

Fall Harvest Mocktail

INGREDIENTS

3 Cups of lemonade ( I prefer fresh squeezed. If so mix the juice of 4 lemons with 3 cups of water and 1/2 cup of honey)

5 Cups of apple cider ( I make my own by placing 5 cups of organic apple juice in a pot. Add 1 whole nutmeg, 2-3 cinnamon sticks, a Tbs of cloves, and 1 cut orange. Let simmer for about 30 minutes)

1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice

1-2 cups sparkling water

1/4 cup maple syrup

TO GARNISH

Fresh rosemary sprigs

1-3 apples

1 orange

cinnamon sticks for each drink

DRINKWARE

Use your favorite Ball®Canning jars as your glasses! They work perfectly for this kind of drink and look beautiful too! My favorite are the

Ball® Glass 16 oz. Flute Jar

DIRECTIONS

In a tall pitcher mix the apple cider with the orange juice and lemonade.

Add cut wedges of apple and orange and chill.

When ready to serve place an extra wedge of orange and apple into each glass

Pour a splash of maple syrup into each glass

Pour drink mixture into each glass

Garnish each glass with a sprig of rosemary and a cinnamon stick!

Add crushed ice and you’re done!

Enjoy!
