WHAT IS TEETHING?

Teething is where the babies teeth go through the gums and this causes pain. I cannot even imagine how much that would hurt! It can start at 6 months and continue all the way till 2 years ( But I’ve heard it can last longer, gah!) Babies are normally irritable and their gums are swollen. There are a few things that can help soothe the pain naturally and help baby.

Here are the things Ava has liked so far.

  1. Chewing on a cold carrot

  2. Chewing on a piece of celery

  3. Cold applesauce when she eats, loves it

  4. Washcloth wet on the corner then frozen ( it works even better if you soak the washcloth in chamomile at first, twist it, then place in freezer. Camomile is soothing)

  5. Amber teething necklace ( This maybe works, ha! I have put one on her and think it helps with her drooling, but the verdict is still out on this)

  6. Camilla teething liquid.

Other things mom’s suggested for teething
