When we moved to our property the previous owner had left 2 huge window frames in the barn. They had no glass, just the wood and I have LOVED them so much for different projects over the years. I’ve currently got one in our kitchen/office nook and it’s been the perfect spot to display pictures of Ava. This is a perfect easy way to decorate an area of your home without it being too fussy or difficult.

I’ve even done a mini version which you can most definitely re-create and enjoy during this month and beyond.

The concept is simple. Tie strings across your window frame. Use tiny wooden clothespins to attach images onto the string. Add little bells or tiny elements that add character. Loop pieces of ribbon and fabric directly over the string or attach with a clothespin. Lastly add some fresh florals. By hanging upside down most will just dry throughout the month and still look colorful and pretty!

That’s it! Have tried more and more to print pictures ov Ava and have a way to truly look back own happy moments and visuals without her being on my phone.

SMALLER DIY VERSION

Walmart sells a super cute small window frame which they usually carry inspires and you can re-create this small version. Simply hang your string, add pictures, bells, florals and hang to display in your home!
