These Almond Protein Waffles with Strawberries Will Make Your Mouth Water!

Waffles are definitely my FAVORITE breakfast food and something I’ve made for years! Earlier this year I started using Octonuts almond protein powder and loved it. I was thrilled to learn they were also making a blend for pancakes and waffles! This is a super easy and delicious waffle recipe you can make for the whole family, packed with protein and full of yummy flavor and health benefits. Waffles Recipe

INGREDIENTS

2 Cups Octonuts Almond Protein Pancake & Waffle Mix.

1 can full fat coconut milk 

1 Tbs baking powder 

DIRECTIONS

Mix well, pour onto greased Belgian waffle maker. Cook on medium to high heat for about 4 minutes. 

Makes 4 large waffles, or 6 medium sized waffles 

  • For the waffles pictured here I added a cup of fresh chopped strawberries as well! Mix well into batter before cooking

Pancake Recipe

Pancake Recipe 

INGREDIENTS 

1 cup Octonuts Almond Protein Pancake & Waffle Mix.

2/3 and 1 Tbs preferred milk. ( coconut, almond, etc) 

2 Tbs oil 

2 Flax seed eggs 

  • 1 Flax seed egg = 1 Tbs ground flax seeds mixed with 2 Tbs hot water. Mix well and let sit for 10 min before using

DIRECTIONS 

Batter will be slightly thick. Pour onto greased skillet on low to medium heat. Let bubble and cook on one side before flipping. 


Makes 6-8 small-medium sized pancakes.

Delicious Strawberry Sauce

2 Cups of fresh chopped strawberries

2 Tbs maple syrup

1 Tbs fresh lemon

Mix all ingredients on stovetop and bring to a boil. Cook for about 15 minutes until it reduces down and thickens. Serve over waffles or pancakes.
