Candlelight and fall decorations in the greenhouse

There’s is definitely something magical about twinkle lights especially in the fall. Over the past weeks I’ve been sharing some fall inspired looks with you along with some fo my friends. It’s called the Seasons of Home Holiday Decor Series. This is my final fall inspired look and it’s all about twinkle lights and flowers.

A few weeks ago I showed you my cozy fall decorating ideas and Budget friendly fall decor using foraged items, plus a DIY Fall Centerpiece.

I love outdoor decorations and our greenhouse was the perfect indoor outdoor space to add a little twinkle to.

I have been wanting to add a few things to the greenhouse for some time and finally got around to it. They are something you can add to any outdoor space to make it feel more cozy and inviting.

  1. Twinkle Lights/Cafe Lights

  2. A table to sit at. In this case I wanted to add a small bistro set that could permanently stay. A place to sit and drink tea, and enjoy the warmth of the greenhouse when it’s cold outside.

Below are some of my favorite string lights! The ones we used in our greenhouse are the first ones linked below! You can also use solar powered lights to hang on tree’s or anywhere you don’t have an outlet!

The bistro set I ordered was only $99 and is really nice quality. Very sturdy. It comes in multiple colors. I added a few other options below that look nice too!

There’s only 2 chairs but honestly sometimes entertaining for two can be just as special as when there are many more gathered. It’s fun to create places around our homestead to gather and enjoy a moment. By adding these small details to the greenhouse it makes it a wonderful place to be year round.

SIMPLE WAYS TO DECORATE

To decorate it for fall I went back to the things that always work for me when decorating.

  1. Natural Elements

Flowers: Mums and fresh cut dahlias from the garden

  2. Candlelight: Tea lights in small votives and mercury glass + antique candlesticks.

  3. Pumpkins: Different sizes and colors

A DELICIOUS MOCKTAIL

What’s more fun than a delicious drink to sip while relaxing in the greenhouse. I made my favorite fall mocktail. It’s sweet and spicy and all things fall. Get the recipe HERE

I’ve always wanted to host a full dinner in the greenhouse so maybe the future I could make something cozy like my Vegetable Skillet Pot Pie, Fall Pasta With Butternut Squash, or a Fig and Caramelized Onion Gallette

Once it got dark I turned the string lights off and loved seeing just the glow of the candlelight! I found the cutest chandelier in an antique shop that you have to use real candles in! I love how delicate it is and it adds such a whimsical touch!
